The 3rd Annual Duck Adoption Center is now open. The Fort Collins Rotary Duck Race is a family-friendly fundraising event on August 29, 2026 at City Park Pool. Adopt a duck for $25, support a local nonprofit, and watch thousands of rubber ducks race down the Lazy River for cash prizes. Join us for a great day of food, fun, and community!
How it works
Each duck adoption is $25, with 80% goes back to the organization designated to benefit from the adoption. A Quack Pack of 6 ducks can be adopted for just $125! In 2025, more than $67,000 was raised for 51 different local nonprofits!
Who can participate?
Organizations holding a valid 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) designation, as well as groups that demonstrate a clear benefit to the Fort Collins community. To become a beneficiary click duck race beneficiary signup.
